Quartet in race for Healy

Sunderland, 11:03, September 7, 2009 ,

Ipswich, Coventry, Watford and Newcastle are all being linked with a loan swoop for Sunderland striker David Healy.

The Northern Ireland international held talks with Sky Blues chief boss Chris Coleman before the transfer window closed but was in no rush to sort out his future.
He said at the time: "What has been forgotten about in the rush to get deals done is that the loan window opens shortly, so I have options."
Healy, who is behind Kenwyne Jones, Darren Bent and Fraizer Campbell in the Black Cats' pecking order, reportedly now interests Town, the Hornets and the Magpies so will have his choice of destinations should he elect to move on.
