Record signing to leave for nothing
Sunderland,

Sunderland's record-breaking keeper Craig Gordon looks likely to be on his way this summer with no offer of a new contract.
The Black Cats broke their transfer record, and the transfer record for a keeper, when they signed Gordon for £9m from Hearts back in 2009 and he is also said to be one of the highest earners at the club. After a good start to his Sunderland career, things have gone somewhat pear-shaped and he has not played for 14 months due to injury and the form of current number one and two Simon Mignolet and Keiren Westwood. Whether he gets a game between now and the end of the season remains to be seen but he is set to move on in the summer on a free when his contract comes to an end and both Celtic and Wigan said to be interested.
