SOL exit door for Saha

Striker Louis Saha has left Sunderland, the club have confirmed.

Manager Martin O'Neill revealed earlier this month that both parties had agreed to cancel the 34-year-old's contract after 14 senior appearances, and now he has formally parted company with the Black Cats. Chief executive Margaret Byrne told the club's official website, www.safc.com: "We wish Louis all the very best for the future and thank him for his contribution to Sunderland."
