Sunderland have finally reached an agreement with Wolves over the transfer of Scotland striker Steven Fletcher.

There is no confirmation of how much the transfer fee will be, but the latest reports suggested that Wolves were considering a straight offer of £12m for the player, who handed in a transfer request at the start of the month to try and ensure a deal went through.
Wolves have remained adamant that they would not sell their stars for less than their own valuation, but that stance may have started to weaken as the transfer window starts to close and on Tuesday, their boss Stale Solbakken admitted a deal could be done.
Following their home win over Barnsley, he said: "If valuations are matched, something can happen. I don't know if the clubs (Sunderland and Wolves) are still talking."
