Sunderland linked with striker

Sunderland continue to be linked with a summer move for Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner, who is also wanted by Swansea.

The striker who was on loan at the Stadium of Light for the entire season last time out has made it clear he has no intention of returning to Arsenal next season to spend half his life sat on the bench.
His loan deal with the Black Cats was a mixed affair and it remains to be seen how keen Martin O'Neill really is on his services.
