Sunderland pair doubtful for Pompey test

Sunderland duo John Mensah and Kieran Richardson remain doubts for boss Steve Bruce ahead of the trip to Portsmouth.
Mensah has a hamstring problem which may see him sidelined for the trip to Fratton Park, while Richardson is struggling with a calf problem.
Anton Ferdinand and Jordan Henderson are both ruled out with respective ankle injuries, with either Boudweijn Zenden or Steed Malbranque in line to take Henderson's place in midfield.
