Ashley Williams is convinced Swansea are going places after he penned a new three-year deal with the club.
Williams was a revelation for the Swans last season as they surprised everyone with the way they took to life in the Premier League and he is convinced there is even more to come. It has been a difficult start to the new season for Williams as injuries have hampered him while a couple of blunders at the back cost the Swans crucial goals. However Williams and Swansea were back on track with a 2-1 home win over Wigan at the weekend and the Wales international says a bright future is on the horizon. "I'm delighted to get it signed," Williams revealed. "It's dragged on a bit, but I'm happy to finally sign and be part of this team. I'm enjoying it here; it's a great place to be at the moment. "If we continue to work as hard as we have been, we will continue to go forward as a team and a club." The defender still had two years to run on his deal but the new improved one will keep him at the Liberty Stadium until at least 2015.
