Swansea defender Kyle Bartley is making good progress from injury but is still two months away from making a return to action.
Bartley only arrived at the Liberty Stadium in the summer and his time at the club has not got off to the best start after he picked up a serious looking thigh injury in training. The defender has already been on the sidelines for the last five weeks and barring any setbacks it looks as though it will be another eight before he is ready to return to the first team. However the former Arsenal and Rangers man is keeping his spirits up and will make sure he is fully fit before returning to action. "It's a strange one because I picked it up in training but I don't know how I did it. I didn't feel any pain at the time," he told the club's website. "I've reached the five-week stage today, I've been for a scan recently and I was told it was coming along well. "I've got another eight weeks of recovery ahead of me, so I am getting there. It wasn't too bad in the first couple of weeks, but then you're out of the group and in the gym on your own a lot. "But I can't push myself too much too soon as I could knock my recovery back, even though it has been very frustrating for me."
