Dwight Tiendalli could be the man to solve Swansea's problems at left-back and a one-year contract looks to be on the table.

Swans boss Michael Laudrup is keen to land a new left-back after losing Neil Taylor for the rest of the season and has been scouring the globe for a player who is a free agent and can sign outside of the window. Laudrup has been linked with a whole host of players while he has also been inundated with calls from agents trying to push their players to the Liberty Stadium. However it seems at though Laudrup may have settled for Tiendalli, who has yet to get fixed up with a club following his exit from Dutch side FC Twente in the summer. The 26-year-old can also play at right-back and his versatility is sure to be a major plus point for Laudrup as he looks to bring his search to an end this week.
