Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins say they hope to wrap up a deal for Celtic midfielder Ki Sung-Yueng in the next 24 hours.

Jenkins has confirmed that a fee of £5million has already been agreed with the SPL champions and now the player just has to agree personal terms and pass a medical before the deal can be rubberstamped. The Swans chairman is well aware of interest from rival clubs but is confident of landing the highly-rated South Korean before they have a chance to speak to him. "We have agreed a fee with Celtic for Ki," he said. "We are currently holding discussions with player and agent over personal terms. "We are aware of other clubs interest but we are hopeful we can conclude a deal in the next 24 hours. We feel he is a very exciting young player who has a good career in front of him." Meanwhile the Swans are also coming to terms with the fact they are set to lose Scott Sinclair with the winger closing in on a move to Manchester City.
