Swansea boss Michael Laudrup says Ashley Williams' fitness problems are becoming a growing concern for the club.
The central defender has been struggling with an ankle injury he picked up against Aston Villa last month and to make matters worse he has also been suffering with illness.
It means Williams has not been able to train properly and Laudrup says he has to be rated doubtful for this weekend's crucial showdown with Reading at the Liberty Stadium.
"Ashley has been ill, which is not good on top of the ankle injury," Laudrup revealed. "He wants to be fit, he wants to play and he wants to be 100 percent.
"But for the last couple of weeks or more he hasn't trained at 100 per cent because of his ankle, and he is the big question mark for us ahead of Reading."
It has not been the greatest start to the season for Williams, who has also dropped a couple of high-profile blunders that have led to conceding goals.
