Birmingham are working on a deal to keep Swansea striker Leroy Lita at St Andrews for the rest of the season.
Lita does not figure in the plans of Swans boss Michael Laudrup but he is impressing with the Championship side and Blues boss Lee Clark is keen to keep hold.
The 27-year-old is halfway through his three month loan deal and chipped in with his third goal as Birmingham defeated Leeds 1-0 at Elland Road on Saturday.
Lita will have to return to the Liberty Stadium at some point but Clark says he is working on a deal to keep him for the rest of the campaign.
"We are working on trying to keep him," said Clark. "He is on loan until mid-December so he has to go back for a couple of weeks but his future is something we are pursuing."
