Michael Laudrup is targeting new signings from Holland, Denmark and Spain as he admits he has little knowledge of domestic players.
The former Brondby, Getafe and Real Mallorca coach knows the Danish and Spanish scenes pretty well and finished his career as a player in Holland with Ajax. But Laudrup has also ruled out just buying Danish players, having recently been linked with Euro 2012 star Michael Krohn-Dehli, stating he's simply looking for players who can improve the team. "Of course I want players that I have knowledge of, but if they are Danes, Dutch or Spanish, it is not the most important," he said. "I do not buy any players just because they are Danes. It should be someone who fits in, and then they must be good quality at a reasonable cost." Laudrup has also been linked to PSV Eindhoven attacking midfielder Otman Bakkal who spent last season on loan at Feyenoord and finished the campaign well by scoring in five of his last nine appearances.
