Swans stand firm on Sinclair
Swansea City,

Swansea have cleared the way for Scott Sinclair to join Manchester City but are holding out for more than £5million.
Swans officials put the winger up for sale as soon as he made it clear he would not be signing a new deal at the Liberty Stadium and City are poised to pounce. However as Michael Laudrup works on two deals of his own, Swansea are holding out for as much money as possible and hope City are willing to pay more than the £5million which is being mentioned. Sinclair only has 12 months left to run on his contract so Swansea are not in the strongest of positions but with City in need of a replacement for Adam Johnson they could raise their bid to make sure they land their man. Any money raised from the sale of Sinclair will go straight in to Laudrup's transfer coffers with deals for Celtic midfielder Ki Sung-Yueng and Valencia winger Pablo Hernandez in the pipeline.
