Timely fitness boost for Laudrup
Swansea City,
Last updated:
Swansea boss Michael Laudrup has no new injury concerns ahead of their clash at Manchester City and is set to field an unchanged team.
The Dane was delighted to get back to winning ways against Wigan and hopes the result will give his boys some extra confidence going into Saturday's encounter with the reigning Premier League champions. Laudrup used start midfielder Michu in attack in the 2-1 success over the Latics and it's a tactic he is likely to continue with after watching the Spaniard claim his sixth goal of the season in that position last weekend, meaning Danny Graham will have to settle for a place on the bench. Pablo Hernandez and in-form Wayne Routledge look set to keep Nathan Dyer on the bench, while Kyle Bartley (thigh) and Neil Taylor (broken ankle) are the only long-term absentees. City, meantime, are likely to make a number of changes as Roberto Mancini's men attempt to bounce back from the disappointment of their midweek Champions League defeat to Ajax.
