Wes Foderingham is available for Swindon when they travel to rivals Oxford in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
The goalkeeper was hauled off after 21 minutes against Preston at the weekend and exchanged words with manager Paolo Di Canio.
But the 21-year-old released an official apology and Di Canio has confirmed he is back in contention to start.
Di Canio told the club's official website: "Wes has apologised. The situation is now clear and we will move on and work together. He will have his chance to be a part of the team and be available for selection against Oxford."
The Italian could hand a debut to Adam Rooney, who was a substitute at the weekend after joining from Birmingham on loan.
Paul Benson is hoping for a run-out after remaining on the bench at Preston upon his return from a knee injury.
