Miller targets improvement

Tommy Miller believes Swindon are heading in the right direction in pre-season, despite a lacklustre performance last time out.

Miller scored his first goal in Town colours in the 1-0 win at Supermarine on Monday, but then admitted there is no substitute for hard work ahead of the npower League One opener at Hartlepool on August 18. He told the club's official website: "There are things to work on but we've got two weeks until the season starts. "You've got to approach every game like it's a cup final. We can't take teams lightly, even if they're in the lower leagues. "We've got to play them like we're playing Brighton or against a League One side. We've got things to work on and I'm sure we will."
