Nadal victorious over Murray
British star Andy Murray was knocked out of the Monte Carlo Masters by tournament favourite Rafael Nadal on Saturday.
The Scotsman went down 6-4 2-6 6-1 to the 'King of Clay' in the semi-final of the tournament but did push the Spaniard hard for the victory.
Murray produced a quality display in the clash but just fell short of causing an upset against Nadal, who was once again impressive on his favoured surface.
Despite playing through injury, Murray was disappointed he fell short of booking a place in the final against David Ferrer.
He said: "When you do have an injury, it's sometimes difficult to concentrate.
"Against someone like him, you need to play every single point, concentrate from every single point to the last. You can't just throw games, hope to hang onto your serve. You need to play every single point to put pressure on him."
