Robson on the up
Laura Robson believes she is now nearly over her troublesome chest infection and will be fine for Indian Wells in March.
Robson has been struggling with the infection since the end of last year's Olympic Games in London and she admitted it affected her when losing to
Kazakhstan wildcard Yulia Putintseva at the Dubai Duty Free Championships last week.
However, the 19-year-old insists she is now well on the road to a full recovery and believes she will be fine for the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells next month.
"The infection is in the process of clearing up - I'll be fine for Indian Wells in March," she said. "I've had another course of antibiotics and I'm as good as new. It's always tough playing when you're ill - it was my decision to play in Doha and Dubai."
Robson, who is currently ranked 43rd in the world, is set to play in Miami and Charleston in the coming weeks before she is expected to join her Great Britain team-mates for the World Group II play-off Fed Cup tie against Argentina in mid-April.
