Murray backed for glory shot

Beaten quarter-finalist Lleyton Hewitt believes Andy Murray can see off Andy Roddick and make it into the Wimbledon final.

Hewitt lost to Roddick in five sets on Wednesday meaning Briton Murray must beat the American in Friday's semi-final to become the first male British player to reach the Wimbledon final since 1938.
Australian Hewitt says the pair are fairly evenly matched but he thinks Murray may just have the edge.
"I think it's going to be a tough one for Roddick to win," said Hewitt.
"When I've seen Andy Murray at his best, I think he matches up extremely well against Roddick. It's going to be an interesting match."
Roddick himself has shrugged off suggestions he will be feeling the effects of his five-set quarter-final win when he takes on Murray.
He said: "I felt fine out there physically. I'm sure I'll pull up a little bit sore, but that's to be expected.
"I feel fit and I feel healthy. I'm in better shape now than I was when I was 24."
Tommy Haas meets Roger Federer in the other semi-final after the 31-year-old German made it into the last four for the first time following a hard-fought 7-5 7-6 (8-6) 4-6 6-3 victory over fourth seed Novak Djokovic.
