Robson eases into Aussie final

Laura Robson is through to the final of the Australian Open junior championships after a straight sets victory over Kristyna Pliskova.

The 16-year-old Briton was in top form and wasted little time in easing to a 6-3 6-1 victory in just over an hour in Melbourne.
The Australian-born star dropped her serve only once during a dominant display and will now, bizarrely, play Pliskova's identical twin sister, Karolina, on Saturday.
The talented left-hander claimed the Wimbledon junior title in 2008 but was beaten in the Melbourne final 12 months ago, and she is looking to put the record straight this time around.
"I'd love to win a second junior Grand Slam," she said. "I think I've really improved since last year in all aspects, especially my movement. I also feel more comfortable on court."
Robson warmed up for the Aussie Open by partnering Andy Murray in the Hopman Cup and she feels victory for the Scot on Sunday would give tennis in the UK a shot in the arm.
"He'll be pretty confident going into the match as he's played so well so far," she added. "It would be really good for British tennis."
