Torquay boss Martin Ling admitted his side failed to perform in the 1-0 defeat to Rotherham.
Alex Revell netted the only goal of the game after 34 minutes to give the Millers their third successive home league victory. Ling said: "We gave up our five-match unbeaten run with a whimper to be honest. The 1-0 scoreline didn't do Rotherham any justice. "If we had come away late in the game and nicked a point I think it would have been an injustice. Rotherham had the chances and they were the aggressors, especially in the second half. "Sometimes it looked like men against boys. Rotherham are a decent team, but it looked as though our defence had never played together, especially down the left-hand side. "We gave them the goal on a plate, but if we had come away at 0-0 it would have been an injustice. We had one great chance 10 minutes from time but it fell to Billy Bodin's right foot and he blazed it over. I am not sure we hit the target with a shot so today is one to push away and move on."
