Bentley heads to Russia

Tottenham's David Bentley has joined Russian side FC Rostov on loan until January in order to get regular first team football.
Bentley made the move to North London from Blackburn Rovers back in 2008 for a then club record fee of £15 million, making only 42 appearances for Spurs.
The 28-year-old has spent time out on loan with Birmingham and West Ham over the past two seasons in a bid to gain a regular berth back at White Hart Lane, but a serious knee injury while at The Hammers has left him on the sidelines for some time.
The former Arsenal youth player has gained seven caps for England but has not featured in the national teams plans since 2008.
Bentley will be hopeful that a loan move away from the club will give him the opportunity to gain some much needed match fitness and a possible inclusion in Andre Villas-Boas' squad when he returns.
