Lokomotiv Moscow are reported to have joined the race for Luka Modric after Slaven Bilic was named their new boss.
The former Croatian national team boss has taken charge of the Russian outfit and reports claim he is keen to link up with his fellow countryman and make him one of his first signings.
Modric is set to decide on his future following Croatia's exit from Euro 2012 and it looks as though Spurs are fighting a losing battle to keep hold of the midfielder.
Chelsea and Manchester United are both keen to keep him in the Premier League while Real Madrid and Paris St-Germain are also ready to match Tottenham's valuation.
The lack of Champions League football and departure of Harry Redknapp has convinced the player he needs to move on and there will be no shortage of clubs ready to bid for him.
