Boss to block loan moves
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is preparing to block loan offer for the likes Robbie Keane and David Bentley during the new year.
Redknapp is happy to let the pair leave White Hart Lane but only if they bring in the sort of money that would swell his coffers as he looks to add to his own squad. David Beckham continues to be linked with a move to Spurs for two months. Bentley is wanted by Birmingham, Newcastle, Aston Villa and Fulham, whilst Keane has been strongly linked with West ham and Villa but Redknapp has ruled out loan deals. Redknapp said: "Bentley did well at the end of last season. But he obviously wants to go. He's not happy because he's not playing and I understand that. Robbie is the same. "He's too good not to play. But if we want to let people go we need to sell them."
