Spurs defender Vedran Corluka wants to turn his loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen into a permanent deal at the end of the season.

The Croatian lost his place in the side to Kyle Walker, who went on to become the young player of the year, so he left White Hart Lane in January in a loan deal to the Bundesliga club.
The loan expires at the end of the season but the full back sees little point in returning to White Hart Lane to sit on the bench so he would like to make the deal permanent.
Corluka told Goal: "I would like to stay, because it's a good club, I made a lot of friends here, I like the league as well, so why not?"
"I think it is not in my hands, as I'm still a Tottenham Hotspur player, so we'll see what will happen, because Tottenham is a good club as well.
"Both options are very good for me, but who knows? Probably I'll end up playing for another club - you never know."
