Defender wants upset
Latest news update:
Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen has revealed his team-mates are full of confidence heading into Sunday's game with Manchester City.
The Belgian insists that Spurs do not fear Roberto Mancini's side who are currently five points ahead and remain unbeaten at the Etihad for 34 games.
Vertonghen, who joined White Hart Lane in the summer, has settled in at the club and has helped them to start the season well.
The 25-year-old believes that the pace of Aaron Lennon and Gareth Bale on the flanks will be too much for City.
"We are confident," said Vertonghen.
"City are struggling, they're not too confident. And we're strong in away games, so we want to win there, and we're capable of that.
"They are one of the best teams in the league, but with our pace we can hurt anybody. I think we're hopeful to get a good result."
