Dos Santos moves hits problems
If Swansea sign Giovani Dos Santos on loan from Tottenham it will end their plans to take Steven Caulker back.
The Welsh outfit are thought to be keen on signing the Mexico international, who has found first team opportunities hard to come during his time at White Hart Lane. With the anticipated club record £6.8 million signing of Gylfi Sigurdsson set to take up a large part of the Swans transfer funds the club can't afford to bring in Dos Santos on a permanent basis. Should they make a loan move for the 23-year-old that would mean they are unable to bring back Caulker, with Premier League rules stating that a club can borrow only player at a time from a fellow top-flight side. Rodgers is keen to have the England Under-21 defender back at the Liberty Stadium after a fantastic season and will now have to weigh up whether he wants Caulker or Dos Santos.
