Dutch ace outlines future
Tottenham midfielder Rafael van der Vaart appears to have closed the door on a summer exit saying "he will probably stay".
Reports over the summer have linked the Dutch international with a move back to Germany to former club Hamburg, while Schalke were also thought to be interested. However, van der Vaart says talk of him leaving is just purely speculation and he now expects to stay at White Hart Lane. "It's unbelievable how my name is speculated around Europe. I can only say these are only speculations. I will probably stay at Tottenham," Van der Vaart told Bild. Van der Vaart, who was part of the Netherlands' Euro 2012 squad who disappointed out in Poland and Ukraine, joined Spurs in 2010 after being frozen out at Real Madrid.
