Tottenham are being linked with a move for West Ham goalkeeper Robert Green when the January window opens.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has targeted a new keeper at White Hart Lane following yet another horror show from Heurelho Gomes at Fulham on Saturday and Green is a target.
West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola will be desperate to keep his number one but it is clear that the Hammers will have to sell players before any money is released for the Italian to spend on his own targets.
Green has been in outstanding form all season and was again impressive at the weekend as West Ham held Portsmouth to a 0-0 draw at Upton Park. The former Norwich man was the pick of the two goalkeepers when outshining England number one David James and his form has not gone unnoticed at Spurs.
