Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has been put on alert by the news Ben Foster is ready to quit Manchester United.
Foster fears that his fledgling international career could almost be over before it begins after current Reds number one Edwin van der Sar signed a new one-year deal.
Reports claim the youngster is now ready to quit Old Trafford in a bid to get regular first-team football under his belt when the transfer window opens next month.
Redknapp is looking for a new keeper and is interested in Foster but he knows that competition will be stiff. Aston Villa and Middlesbrough are known to also be interested in signing Foster who is likely to cost them around £4million if the Reds decide to let the keeper move on.
