Heurelho Gomes has told his former club PSV Edinhoven that he wants to rejoin them when the transfer window opens in January.
Gomes, who has made a string of blunders since joining Tottenham in the summer, appears to have finally had enough and wants to leave White Hart Lane according to reports.
The Brazilian enjoyed four outstanding seasons at PSV but was forced to leave after falling out with manager Martin van den Heuvel. The 27-year-old who cost £7.8million in the summer is believed to have settled his differences with van den Heuvel to pave the way for his return.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is already known to be looking for a replacement but they are unlikely to get back what they paid for Gomes, who has 17 international caps.
