King staying positive
Spurs captain Ledley King has rejected claims his ongoing knee problem will force him to retire from the game prematurely.
The central defender has won 19 England caps but none under Fabio Capello after being ruled out of his first squad through injury, but the 28-year-old insists he has high hopes for the future despite his appearances being restricted.
"When you are out for a long time you think about your career, but I've tried to stay strong and, at the moment, I'm not fearful for it," said King.
"The thing I'm fearful for is that the team's not doing so well and I'm not playing every game.
"I'm not thinking about finishing playing football at the moment, I'm just thinking about trying to do as much as I can to help."
