Midfielder eyes Royal victory
Tottenham midfielder Sandro claims the players are really desperate to secure their first win of the season at Reading on Sunday.
Spurs have had a couple of near misses since losing 2-1 to Newcastle on the opening day of the current Premier League campaign, but the Brazilian knows the pressure will build the longer they go without a three point haul from a game. Sandro is convinced it's only a matter of time before their luck changes after late goals denied them victories in the 1-1 draws with West Brom and Norwich City. The 23-year-old, who only returned late in the week from international duty with his country, can take heart from the fact that their actual performances in all three games haven't been that bad. He said: "It's important to get our first win this season. "We're all determined. Everyone has talked about the first win. "It's a difficult game, every game in the Premier League is tough, but we have a good team and we will try so hard to get the three points."
