Modric eyes Spurs exit
Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric has dropped a massive hint that he will be leaving the club during the summer transfer window.
The Croatia international has been linked with a move away from White Hart Lane ever since Harry Redknapp was sacked as manager earlier this summer. The talented schemer nearly left 12 months go but Redknapp persuaded him to remain in north London for another season. But with Spurs missing out on Champions League football due to Chelsea's victory in this year's event, the 26-year-old looks set to leave to fulfil his ambition of playing regularly in Europe's elite club competition. Real Madrid are leading the race to land the star this summer, and the playmaker is confident of securing his exit from White Hart Lane. "Here I am no longer able to fulfil my dream," he told Spanish newspaper Marca. "I'm going to play in the Champions League - I want to win this competition." Punters who feel that Spurs might finish in the top four with or without the influential midfielder, can use a free bet to back them to do so.
