Modric staying focused: Bilic

Croatia manager Slaven Bilic says that Luka Modric will not be distracted by speculation linking him away from Spurs.

Manchester United are reported to be set to make a £25million swoop for the 26-year-old at the end of Euro 2012. However, Bilic says that the former Dinamo Zagreb ace will be fully focused on Croatia's bid to be crowned European Champions. Speaking to the Sun he said: "Don't worry, Luka won't be affected by talk of his future." "He's very responsible, he knows he has to have a great tournament and be on top of his game for us to do what we are aiming to do. "Talk of his future will only motivate him and boost his confidence." Bilic added that when he spoke Modric, who has more than half a century of appearances for Croatia, that the midfielder said that at Spurs he is already at a big club.
