Race on for midfield ace
Spurs will face a battle with Liverpool in the summer as both clubs are keen to sign Blackpool's highly rated midfielder Charlie Adam.
It looks to be a forgone conclusion that the former Rangers star will be leaving Blackpool this summer whether or not they win their own battle to avoid relegation.
Both clubs are reported to have had transfer deadline day move for Adam turned down in January, both thought to be around the £9m mark, and both are expected to make renewed efforts to sign the player in the summer.
Spurs' chief scout Ian Bloomfield was at Ewood Park to watch Adam score twice on his return from suspension last Saturday, as was Reds boss Kenny Dalglish. And it is now set to come down to a summer battle between the pair.
