Ramos eyes Portsmouth ace
Spurs boss Juande Ramos is interested in Portsmouth's Lassana Diarra to the dismay of Pompey chief Harry Redknapp.
The tough-tackling midfielder has become a revelation under Redknapp's guidance after failing to break into the Chelsea and Arsenal teams but could now trade Fratton Park for a bigger stage. Ramos is thought to be keen to add to his midfield after a shaky start to the season and it's believed he sees Diarra as an ideal addition to his Spurs side. Redknapp is eager to keep hold of one of his most valuable players but admits the 23-year-old could leave if a bigger club comes along. He said: "He's unbelievable, he really is. "He's a top, top, top player and yet so easy to deal with, a good little lad who just wants to get on with it. "Please God, he stays here for a while but, you know, one day he could go on and play for anybody, any of the big clubs in the world. "I think we signed him for four years and he's tied up on contract here but you know what happens. If they want to go they usually go."
