Redknapp happy with Spurs stay
Tottenham Hotspur, 14:32, December 19, 2010 , | 2 Comments
Harry Redknapp has stated that he could happily play out the rest of his managerial career with Tottenham Hotspur.
The 63-year-old has been linked with the England job as Fabio Capello is set to retire after the European Championships in 2012.
Redknapp has enjoyed a successful spell in his time with Spurs as he took them from a side struggling near the bottom of the Premier League to a team that have recently been drawn in the knockout stages of the Champions League.
The former Portsmouth boss would like stay at White Hart Lane until he retires but he did state that he does not know what the future will hold for him.
He said: "Of course I would. For sure, only I don't think that far ahead.
"In this game you just never know. Yeah, it's gone great but I was enjoying my life before and out of the blue suddenly you get a phone call (from Tottenham).
"It never entered my mind that I would leave Portsmouth, I was enjoying it there and suddenly you get an offer to come here."
Here are some betting tips from Betfair's tipsters:

I am a Spurs fan for 50yrs and more and Harry Redknapp is the best manager we have had since
Bill Nicholson so yes I want him to stay for as
long as he is enjoying the game.I think he would
prefer to manage us rather than the England job.
The England job is a poisoned chalice and as good
as Harry there will always be peolple telling him
how to do his job.Harry is loved by the SPURS fans
so why should he want to leave us.He can become a
Spurs legend like Bill Nicholson did.
So yes Harry for Spurs long time.
