Target eyed by rivals
Tottenham are facing a battle to land long-term target Leandro Damiao as arch rivals Arsenal are also said to be keen.
The Brazilian ace has been a target for Spurs for over a year as former boss Harry Redknapp was very keen to land him and now current chief Andre Villas-Boas is said to be equally as keen. Reports suggest an offer will go in for the Internacional star when the Brazilian season finishes at the end of the year, but it's also been claimed that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger may also be interested in the player despite having bought in Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud in the summer. Spurs made an offer for the 23-year-old in the summer and remain favourites to land him, if Internacional can be persuaded to let him leave.
