Highly-rated young Crystal Palace midfielder John Bostock is in talks with Tottenham over a £5million summer move.
The 16-year-old made his debut for Palace this season and showed enough quality to suggest that he could be a star of the future, catching the eye of the Spurs scouts.
It is understood Bostock has already passed a medical at White Hart Lane and is currently in negotiations with Tottenham officials about a five-year contract.
Bostock's contract at Palace expired two weeks ago and if Spurs cannot agree a fee with Palace, the decision will go to a tribunal. Spurs have made a cash offer, believed to be around £500,000, for his immediate release, with a series of clauses dependent on appearances for club and country.
