Trio in Eidur battle
The race is on for Eidur Gudjohnsen with Birmingham and Fulham set to rival Tottenham for his signature.
It had looked to be a forgone conclusion that the Icelandic forward would be on his way to White Hart Lane after his successful loan at the club last season, but the move has stalled following complications over extending the loan deal.
There is the possibility that Monaco may allow him to leave on a permanent basis and Birmingham and Fulham are watching developments closely while there has also been interest from Dubai in the 31-year-old.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp would like to keep Gudjohnsen but at the same time has plenty of other possible targets and will not be held to ransom by Monaco.
