Villa-Boas rejects Spurs "lies"
Former Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has rejected speculation he is set to become the new manager of Spurs.
The Portuguese boss had been considered the leading candidate to take charge at White Hart Lane following the surprise exit of Harry Redknapp earlier this month. Villas-Boas had previously indicated he would be willing to consider an offer from Spurs but the former Porto boss insists rumours he is set to take charge of the north London side are wide of the mark. When asked about the Spurs rumours by Portuguese newspaper O Jogo, he said: "There is nothing, it is all lies."
