Seville winger Diego Capel is aware of interest from Tottenham but says he is under contract with the La Liga club.
Spurs have been strongly linked with a move for the flying winger but so far Juande Ramos has been unable to strike a deal as Seville have refused to sell.
Capel says he would consider a move if the two clubs agreed a fee but admits that he is more than happy with Seville if he has to stay on next season.
"For sure everybody wants to grow as a footballer, I'm at a great club, but you always have better objectives," Capel told Diario de Sevilla.
When quizzed about the rumours linking him with a move to Tottenham, the player added: "I know there's something but the club [Sevilla] trust me and I owe them for this confidence.
"[Tottenham manager Juande Ramos] didn't speak to me, he did with my agent I presume, yes. My representatives deal with this.
"I think Sevilla's president has all the right in the world to do this [turn down an offer]. Right now I belong to Sevilla, I'm under contract here and that needs to be respected."
