Brown not yet for departure lounge

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp was in Glasgow on Tuesday night to watch Scotland midfielder Scott Brown in action.

Reports from north of the border today claim Redknapp was at Celtic Park for the Champions League qualifier against Arsenal to see how Brown matched up against the Gunners' midfield.
However, the 24-year-old did not have an eye-catching game as Celtic's Aiden McGeady took the limelight on a bad night for the home side instead.
The Republic of Ireland international has been desperate to move to the Premier League for the last 18 months and rumours that Redknapp is ready to switch targets and bid for him, rather than Brown, are fanciful.
