Cudicini will play again - Bond

Tottenham, 09:14, November 16, 2009

Tottenham say they are hopeful that Carlo Cudicini will make a full recovery and expect him to return to action in the future.

The Italian fractured both wrists and injured his pelvis after he was involved in a road traffic accident on Thursday and it was initially feared he may not be able to play again.
However Spurs assistant boss Kevin Bond says the player is making good progress and believes he will one day return to action, although it could take time.
"It's going to take some time, he will be on crutches for a period of time and no doubt he'll be in hospital for a good few days yet," Bond told Sky Sports News.
"Obviously it's such good news that all being well he will make a full recovery. At this moment in time no-one is going to put any type of time span on it - we are just glad to know that he's well.
"That's the most important thing and hopefully he'll be back putting his boots on and his gloves on in the not so distant future."
