Dorian Dervite has revealed he wants to move away from Tottenham and go in search of first-team football.
The French youngster has been unable to break into the Spurs first-team set up after making his way through the Academy and does not see a future at White Hart Lane.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp wants to go with experience and the 21-year-old believes he would be best off moving on to pastures new.
"At the end of last season I met with the chairman (Daniel Levy) and he told me to be patient and wait for my opportunity. I believed that would happen soon," he revealed.
"However, coach Harry Redknapp has been very frank with me. He wants results and so has to use experienced players. I am not in that category, but without playing I will not get experience! It is a vicious circle.
"I hope my future will now be sorted out by the end of the week, or early next week."
