Defender set for Spurs return

Harry Redknapp will recall Ledley King to the side for the game against Birmingham after he missed the midweek match at Doncaster.

The central defender wasn't risked for the game at the Keepmoat Stadium as Redknapp continues to deal with a defensive crisis with Jonathan Woodgate (groin), Michael Dawson (Achilles) and Gareth Bale (knee) all still unavailable.
Tottenham will also hand a late fitness test to Benoit Assou-Ekotto after he picked up a knock on his left ankle last week and was forced to sit out Wednesday night's game.
However, Redknapp expects Assou-Ekotto to be fit and not join Jermaine Jenas and Heurelho Gomes who are the only other players unavailable to Spurs.
