Defoe set for Cats clash

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is set to put Jermain Defoe straight back in against Sunderland after he completed his ban.

Defoe has been forced to sit out the last three games following his sending off at Portsmouth and Redknapp says he has been sorely missed as Spurs have struggled for results.
Redknapp believes the needless sending off has cost Tottenham dear and hopes the player will make up for the sending off when he returns against the Black Cats this weekend.
"Defoe has been in incredible form this year," Redknapp revealed. "Suddenly we miss him for three games. It's cost us dearly when he got sent off at Portsmouth."
