Robbie Keane and Jermaine Jenas could both return to the Tottenham side for tonight's trip to Manchester United.
Boss Harry Redknapp is expected to make changes for tonight's Carling Cup quarter-final clash at Old Trafford and both Keane and Jenas are set to figure after starting the last two games on the bench.
Luka Modric is back in training but the game will come way too soon for him. Ledley King and Jonathan Woodgate are also out with hamstring and groin injuries respectively, while Niko Kranjcar is cup tied.
Meanwhile, Redknapp wants to win the Carling Cup but has admitted if he had a choice he would much rather finish in the top four of the Premier League.
"Wembley is a great day out but I would love to get into a Champions League position with Tottenham," Redknapp said.
"You can win a cup and have a bit of luck on the way but to get to a Champions League position would be done through a whole season. It would be great for us."
